Tonight we went up to school to start decorating my room for Christmas. The second we walked in the door, Libbie threw up all in the foyer. We took care of her, and the mess, and walked down the hall to my room…until we walked right up on this snake that was hanging out in the hall!!!! Talk about freaking out!!! Libbie has gotten sick several times since then and is now passed out on the couch with Brownie – our dog – taking good care of her.

Ashton wanted her hair cut short & decided to donate it (all 10 inches!) to Locks of Love.

The 1st graders at Liberty took a field trip this week to Green Meadows Farm. It was so fun!! They had tons of animals, lots of room to run and play, hay rides, and a pumpkin patch. Not only was I the coordinating teacher for the trip, but I also got to be in my mommy role with Libbie…2 difficult roles to be at the same time!

I just got a few pics of Ashton back from Class Color Day and Crazy Hat Day…just too cute to pass up!

Libbie and I were invited by some sweet friends to see the USA Olympic Gymnastics Team perform at American Airlines Center on Saturday night. It was so cool! We had great seats and we saw Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin close up!! Thank you Melissa and Bailey!!!

McKenna chose to spend some allowance money on rock climbing. So we took her this afternoon and she did a great job!

The 3rd grade families all got together for a tailgate party before the homecoming game tonight. We had food, face painting, poster making, tattoos, and lots of playing. After the get together, we headed over to the game…lots of fun!

This week at Liberty has been Homecoming Week…the Homecoming Football Game will be tonight, and I’m sure it will be lots of fun!

Each day was a different theme.  Since we wear uniforms to school, this was a ton of fun!

Monday was Camo-Day.  This is the girls and me before school – thank you Phil Herr for the original camo outfit!  (even though the girls have on pink tops, they all had on camo pants or skirt)

Tuesday was Decade Day.  The Michael family chose to dress in 50’s attire.

Wednesday was the day the girls went to the Fair with Daddy…and I stayed at school and had 18 parent conferences (I wasn’t at all jealous!!)

Thursday was Class Color Day.  Kindergarten is yellow…First Grade is Pink…Third Grade is blue.

Friday is Navy-Gray Day (our school colors).  This is my first grade class. (I can’t help thinking that I could be a really great teacher if I got to dress like this each day!)
